We also allow private charterers to experience driving the Rib and feel the thrill of driving a boat at 50 miles per hour.
The Solent
The Solent is located between the South Coast and the Isle Of Wight. It is the most popular stretch of water for boating in the UK. There are many places to see together with innumerable events taking place throughout the year.
Some of the sights around the Solent include Yarmouth which is the island’s prettiest harbour with great restaurants, pubs and walks along the unspoilt River Yar. Due South from Yarmouth lies Lymington, a Georgian Town in the New Forest National Park. Lymington River leads right up to the bottom of the high street.
If you fancy some sailing action then stopping at Cowes, the world centre of sailing is essential and for a taste of nautical heritage visit Portsmouth, the UK’s biggest naval base and home to HMS Victory as well as the stunning new Gunwharf Quays marina development. For relaxing on the water, put your feet up in the lovely bays including Osbourne Bay, Thorness Bay and Alum Bay.
